The flight was lengthy – as expected – but acceptable as our excitement and anticipation mounted. From the air conditioned and controlled temperature of the plane to the Southern summer heat was a bit of a body-shock.In Atlanta (Hartsfield-Jackson), we saw it was 36 degrees outside as we waited for our connection. However, here we are nearing New Orleans… which is also hot! Yeah!
